Overview

Odette is a baker's daughter who follows a unicorn into the Enchanted Forest. The evil wizard Rothbart turns her into a swan to prevent her from stopping his plans. The Fairy Queen gives her a crown that protects her from Rothbart's magic during the day, though she still changes at night. Odette must find a way to save the forest and its creatures from Rothbart's rule. She meets Prince Daniel, who falls in love with her and invites her to a royal ball. They defeat Rothbart together, restoring peace to the forest.

Takeaways

Rothbart is trying to take over the Enchanted Forest and drain it of its magic. Being turned into a swan is a huge setback for Odette, restricting her to only doing things during the day. The magic crown protects her and keeps Rothbart from taking full control. Rothbart tries to tear Odette and Daniel apart by lying and creating confusion at the royal ball. In the end, combining Daniel's bravery with the Fairy Queen's magic is what defeats Rothbart, restoring peace and bringing the forest back to normal.
