Overview
The Demon Slayer Corps is pulled into the Infinity Castle, a vast and ever-shifting subterranean labyrinth controlled by Muzan Kibutsuji. The slayers don't have a map of the space, which changes its structure at the whim of the demon Nakime. Separated and isolated, the slayers and Hashira are forced to fight individual duels against the remaining Upper Rank demons, including Akaza, Doma, and Kokushibo. The narrative follows several parallel combat lines as the characters confront their enemies and their own pasts. They must defeat their opponents to break Muzan's defense grid and reach the progenitor himself.
Takeaways
The Infinity Castle is Muzan's ultimate fortress, a confusing maze where the rooms keep moving. Nakime controls the layout, constantly shifting the walls to separate the slayers so they can't help each other. This takes away the slayers' strength in numbers, forcing them to fight tough battles all on their own. The slayers have to take down the remaining Upper Rank demons one by one to reach Muzan. This fight demands everything they have, pushing their physical limits and their determination to the breaking point.
