Overview

Victor Van Dort is arranged to marry Victoria Everglot to improve his family's social standing. During a rehearsal mishap, Victor goes into the woods to practice his vows and accidentally places his ring on a root. The root is actually the finger of Emily, a deceased bride who drags him to the Land of the Dead. Victor wants to return to Victoria, but Emily believes they're married. He learns about Emily's tragic past and the lord who betrayed her. He returns to the living world to stop a villain's plot. They don't expect him to succeed.
