Overview

John and Jeremy are divorce mediators who spend their free time crashing weddings to meet women. They use a strict set of rules to blend in and charm the guests. They target a high-profile wedding of a treasury secretary's daughter and get invited to the family estate. John falls for the secretary's daughter Claire, while Jeremy is pursued by her sister Gloria. They have to maintain their fake identities while dealing with the family's eccentricities and Claire's jealous boyfriend. They're exposed but eventually reconcile with the sisters. They don't want to lose their love.

Takeaways

John and Jeremy have wedding crashing down to a science, using a detailed list of rules to charm guests and avoid getting caught. But their game gets complicated when they crash a high-profile wedding and get invited to the family's private estate. Staying with the family makes it much harder to keep up their lies, especially with Claire's suspicious boyfriend trying to expose them. When their fake identities are finally revealed, it ruins their chances with the women they actually started caring about. It shows that while lies might get you in the door, you can only build a real connection by being honest about who you are.
