Overview
Arthur Curry, the half-human heir to the throne of Atlantis, avoids his underwater heritage to live on land. His half-brother, King Orm, tries to unite the underwater kingdoms to wage war against the surface world for polluting the oceans. Princess Mera tracks Arthur down to convince him to claim his rightful place as king and stop the war. Arthur travels across the globe to find the Lost Trident of Atlan, a powerful artifact that controls the seas. He defeats the creature guarding the trident, gains control of the ocean's forces, and defeats Orm to become the new king.
