Overview
Hercules is a demigod who is stripped of his immortality as a baby by Hades, the ruler of the Underworld. Raised on Earth, Hercules discovers his heritage and learns he must become a true hero to regain his godhood. He trains under Phil, a cynical satyr, and becomes a celebrity by defeating monsters sent by Hades. Hades uses Meg, a woman who sold her soul to him, to find Hercules's weakness. Hades takes Hercules's strength in exchange for Meg's safety, but Hercules regains his powers by sacrificing himself to save Meg's soul, proving himself a true hero.
