Overview

Norimichi and Yusuke are both attracted to Nazuna, who plans to run away from home due to her mother's remarriage. When Nazuna's escape plan fails and she is dragged back home, Norimichi gets frustrated. He throws a mysterious glass ball she found, which triggers a time-loop reset. Norimichi finds himself back in time, enabling him to make different choices that alter the day's events. He uses this mechanism repeatedly to keep Nazuna safe and escape the town. Each reset changes the physical laws of their world, making the sky and fireworks look increasingly distorted. They eventually accept that their timeline is temporary.

Takeaways

The glass ball lets Norimichi reset the day whenever things go wrong for Nazuna. Each time he resets, he tries to make better choices to protect her. However, the world gets weirder and more distorted with every reset, showing that he can't control everything. Nazuna's parents are determined to keep her from running away, which is what Norimichi is trying to prevent. In the end, they realize that they can't live in a fantasy world forever. They have to face reality and let time flow naturally.
